Teach Music Week 2021

teach-music-week-2021.jpg

We are proud to participate in the 7th "Teach Music Week" 2021! For the fourth consecutive year, the Do-Re-Mi School is joining other reputable music organizations to introduce children to playing music instruments.

This year, after a year of Covid-19 (read: disease, deaths, interrupted friendships, social life, schooling, work - all aspects of normalcy) as never before we value a healing, uplifting power of music.
If your child is taking Art, Russian, Math or Chess at the Do-Re-Mi, but is NOT taking any music lessons, and you missed the “official” national “Teach Music” week, we extend this opportunity for the week of 3/22-26.
For more info or to reserve your time slot, please email info@doremi-nj.com.
Pre-registration is required.
Stay safe and healthy, and let's make music!

On March 3, the final work of the Advanced group of our Russian Theater “Dragon” was broadcasted by Israeli radio “Israel Forever” https://volnorez.com/izrail-forever and received great references from the audience and the organizers.

Prior to this radioshow, the same performance was demostrated at the virtual festival of the Association of Russian Theaters and Theater-Lovers of America
(СОЮЗА ТЕАТРОВ И ТЕАТРАЛОВ АМЕРИКИ.) Congratulations to all the participants and the director, Natalia Smirnova!

Кто сказал “Мяу”?

Our young theater class (teacher Ms. Daria Minhall; on the photo behind the curtain operating sound system) presented a show “Who is that who said “Meow”? The photo was taken by one of the spectators from behind the open window - current conditions made us inventive :)

Online Recitals

Students of different teachers participated in Zoom recitals:
Ms. Marina Genina, Ms. Marina Konovalova (Piano), Ms. Pei, Ms. Phoebe, Mr. Jeremy (Violin).
Below: Mr. Jeremy is performing Meditation from Opera “Thais” by Jules Massenet
