Ethan Scull

Ethan is a 5th grader in Gregory Elementary School in West Orange. About three years ago his father brought Ethan to us and asked for help: his 2nd grade son was obsessed with Algebra that he tried to master over Internet, but at the same time refused to memorize a multiplication table :)
Under guidance of his Math teacher Ms. Diana he mastered his multiplication, and keeps working at advanced math topics.

Besides Math, Ethan spends time on the computer doing research and teaching himself different things, visiting the library or bookstore with his mom, family movie days, hiking in the reservation or going to Five Guys with dad. It's been a while, but he loves road trips and vacations. He likes to visit museums in New York & Washington DC, and Annapolis for crab legs. He loves theme parks and swimming in the ocean with dad.

Max F., Chess

Max is a "rising star" in chess. With a BS degree from Rutgers, he decided to focus solely on chess, playing and coaching. He participates in big tournaments. The last one, Charlotte Open Online, raised his rating to 2005 which qualifies him as "USCF Expert". He has taught and coached chess for 6 years. We receive very good references about Max from the Do-Re-Mi students and their parents!

Outdoor Recitals on Sunday, June 13

After being on and off remotely, some kids not seeing their teacher in-person for about 15 months, we decided to run a live concert outdoors. It turns into a real reunion with many nice performances, cooperating weather and a lot of fun.
